Last night was a pretty good night. Between 1:30-4:30 A.M. Karley was kind of fussy. Paul took care of her from 4:30-7:30 A.M. so I could get some sleep. Other than that she did well!

Bentley had a good night and took all of his feedings throughout the night! He had the joys of having an eye doctor appointment this morning. The doctor told us it would look grotesque and medieval. He did well though! They checked for retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) and they said his eyes looked the way they should for his gestational age! They told us due to the appointment he may not do as well on his feedings today.

I took a shower this morning and took my sweet time! It felt nice! When I got back Paul informed me Karley's eye doctor appointment was moved from 2:20 P.M. to 11:05 A.M. and we had under an hour to get there! Karley needed to be fed and I needed to pump. It was kind of scramble but we made it there 2 minutes late! :)

While we were waiting for her appointment we got a phone call from the NICU. The nurse right away made sure we knew that nothing was wrong first. She then informed us that there was another set of twins that would be coming up and they needed our room. (They only have 2 rooms setup for twins!) They said they would get all of our things and move them to our new room. We seriously moved in and I felt super bad they had to move our things!!!

Karley was a trooper for her eye appointment too. Her eyes also looked good for her gestational age. I am very glad that as of right now they both are looking good. They will have another check in 3-4 weeks as by then the eyes should be almost fully or fully developed.

When we got back to the NICU we found our new room. They put all of our things right where they found them in the other room and even plugged in our electronics like they were!

Paul and I went and picked up Panera Bread for lunch. (Thanks David and Kerry!) It was absolutely delicious and hit the spot!

Bentley didn't take much of his bottle but he had an eye appointment, was moved to a new environment, had PT, and then his cares were a little late so he was tuckered out. It is to be expected with that much going on!

This afternoon both Karley and Bentley were given baths. They both did very well and seemed to enjoy it!

It is hard to believe but....
